We are looking for a permanent full-time landscape technician who specializes in Japanese garden in addition to general gardening. Duties: Landscape design and construction (residential and commercial) Tree and shrub examination and treatment Growth of ornamental plants Lawn and garden maintenance Tree, hedge and shrub pruning Treatment solution injections Work at various residential locations Skills and Experiences: Completion of vocational school (landscaping) At least 3 years experience as a landscape technician (not limited to Japanese garden) Japanese garden knowledge (concept, plant, design) is an asset Education: Completion of vocational school (landscaping)Compensation: $27.50/hr, 37.5 hrs/week, 10-day paid vacation.
