Position Overview Reporting to the site HR Manager, WRHA Corporate and Community Services, the Recruitment Officer is responsible for employee relations and the effective and timely recruitment of well qualified candidates for the WRHA Community Home Care Program. Experience Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a unionized environment performing a broad range of administrative Human Resource functions including: employee relations, labour relations and staffing. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Complete high school education, Manitoba standards, required. Certificate in Human Resource Management from a recognized post-secondary institution or enrollment and completion of the program within three (3) years from date of hire. A combination of education and experience may be considered. SPECIAL TRAINING: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook) required. Previous experience using Success Factors preferred. Familiarity with SAP preferred. Certification/Licensure/Registration Certificate in Human Resource Management Qualifications and Skills Must have good communication and interpersonal skills. Effective problem-solving skills, written communication skills and organizational skills are essential. Ability to act with initiative, judgment, tact and diplomacy.
