About this role Reporting to the Mining Engineering Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the stope design related to long hole drilling and blasting activities. He or she also carries out field follow-up, plan layouts, data compilation and participates in the decision-making process. Essential Duties Assurer le suivi des différentes places de travail au niveau du forage et du sautage Dessiner les patrons des forages et des séquences de sautage des chantiers Effectuer les plans de forage, de sautage et de déblayage ainsi que la conception des différents devis pour les barricades (ie. limite d’accès) S’assurer des bonnes pratiques de forage et de sautage afin de contrôler la dilution et de maximiser la récupération minière des chantiers. Effectuer les analyses de dilution et de récupération des chantiers Effectuer des visites sur le terrain de contrôle de qualité du forage ainsi des analyses de déviation des trous de forages Respecter, connaître et promouvoir les règlements et politiques de l’entreprise, particulièrement en matière de santé-sécurité Toutes tâches connexes à l’exercice de ses fonctions. Training & Experience College diploma in Exploitation/Mineral Technology Minimum 5 years’ pertinent experience in an underground mine Practical experience in drill & blast considered an asset Valid explosives.
