Join our client's dynamic team as a Senior Roads Design Engineer, bringing 7 to 12 years of valuable planning and design expertise. Based in our Cork office, you'll play a crucial role in our busy Highways and Transportation team. Responsibilities: Perform preliminary and detailed design services. Contribute to Environmental Impact backssments (EIA) and Compulsory Purchase Orders (CPO). Prepare comprehensive contract documentation. Administer construction contracts and supervise construction activities. Requirements: Minimum 7+ years experience in a consultancy setting. Hold a degree in engineering (level 8/9). Chartered or on the verge of achieving Chartership. Proficient in design software (Auto CAD, Civil 3D, MX, etc. ). Familiarity with DMRB/DMURS design standards. Experience in design and build schemes. Expertise in road scheme development, from feasibility studies to contract administration. Possess a valid driver's license. Personal Qualities: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Flexible approach with the ability to multitask and prioritize. Positive outlook and approachable demeanor.
