WORK ILLUSTRATION: Reporting to the Director, Customer Connections & Key Account Services, the Manager, Manager Customer Connections Intake is responsible for managing the customer connections intake process and making triage decisions (simple connections, low voltage, high voltage and general inquires) for action and/or resolution. The incumbent manages the pre-design phase for all low voltage and high voltage connections projects, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to execute pre-design activities in accordance with organizational procedures, including confirmation of pre-payment for work. The incumbent also manages vendor performance for the provision of external services associated with customer intake and pre-design review process. The incumbent manages the end-to-end non-binding estimate process for future customer projects; acts as a single point of contact for intake and distribution of customer requests from multiple channels, and acts through customer connections intake and pre-design to resolve issues and mitigate risks. The incumbent makes recommendations to continuously improve systems and processes to enhance customer connections intake and pre-design activities. The incumbent is expected to behave ethically and follow the established code of business conduct, policies and internal control procedures, laws and regulations governing Toronto Hydro.
