The Master of Forensic Accounting (MFAcc) program is a 10-course program offered at the graduate level, primarily on a distance education basis, using a problem-based learning model supplemented by web- based sessions. The Program currently has the following Sessional Instructional Assistant position available for the Spring term and invites applications from suitably qualified candidates who are not current University of Toronto students. No late applications can be considered. Posting date: December 5, 2023 Closing date: January 7, 2024 Course title: Emerging Issues/Advanced Topics (IFA 2903H) # of Positions: 6-7 (SIAs) Dates of appointment: May – June 2024 Description of Duties: Marking the student research reports in accordance with the marking guide developed in conjunction with the Instructor, and in accordance with the grading policies of the University of Toronto; consultation with the Director and Instructor as required. Est. Total Required Hours: 10 hours per SIA Rate: $52.26 per hour Enrolment: 25-27 students Description of course: This course provides an opportunity for students to research and learn about an emerging issue or area of IFA speciality that is of particular interest to them. It also covers specific topics at advanced levels, such as Identity Fraud and Corporate Due Diligence. Minimum qualifications: Professional Accounting Designation, Master of Forensic Accounting and Investigative & Forensic Accounting Experience preferred.
