Role: Commercial Sprinkler Designer KHR has partnered with an industry leader who is currently recruiting for a Commercial Design Manager to join their team at a time of huge growth and expansion. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for a new, challenging position. As this is a new division, you will have complete freedom to run the team as you see fit. You will join and immediately have a fully equipped team and will be able to lean on the company directors whenever you need to. Duties and Responsibilities: - Utilise LPCB guidelines and industry best practices to design effective and efficient fire protection systems for commercial and industrial spaces. - Create detailed sprinkler system layouts, hydraulic calculations, and specifications tailored to project requirements. - Stay abreast of local and international fire safety codes, regulations, and LPCB standards to ensure all designs adhere to the latest industry requirements. - Collaborate with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary approvals and permits for the installation of fire protection systems. - Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate sprinkler systems seamlessly into building designs. - Provide clear and concise communication regarding design concepts, requirements, and technical specifications to project teams and clients. - Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. The Ideal Candidate: - The candidate must come from a similar background. - LCPB Commercial Certification or equivalent- Demonstrating advanced knowledge in sprinkler system design. - Proven experience in commercial.
