Job Description: The successful candidate, under the direction of a senior engineer, will be responsible for the engineering analysis and design for a variety of municipal servicing, land development, stormwater management, and drainage projects. Flexibility exists in terms of the role and the experience level however a civil engineering background with an understanding of stormwater hydrology would be beneficial. What you could be doing: Modeling of rainfall, runoff, conveyance, and stormwater management systems Preparing of preliminary and detailed designs of runoff conveyance systems, including stormwater management Designing site grading, servicing, and roadways, including watermain and sewer sizing Applying design standards including MECP, and local development standards Coordinating regulatory approvals for projects including local conservation authorities, MECP, DFO, MNRF and others Coordinating with utility agencies to support projects Assisting in the preparation of engineering proposal submissions Preparing written reports Assisting with the preparation of tender packages and construction cost estimates Participating.
