A global leader in safety products and solutions for some of the most hazardous industries has a rare opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join its Defence and Security team. This field based role entails managing and developing business with the UK military with key accounts across the UK and Ireland. You will be promoting a portfolio of high quality personal protective and safety equipment and supplies used to safeguard individuals in high risk areas encountered in the defence and security sector in land, air and sea. This would include PPE, PRE, SCBA, gas detection systems and equipment to protect against chemical, radiological and biological attacks etc. You will need extensive business development, sales and account management experience in the military sector, with contacts in the MOD and with key contractors in the military and security sectors. You MUST be a UK citizen to apply and will be required to undergo security clearance vetting. Ex Forces candidates from the Army, Navy or RAF are particularly suited to this role.
