The Associate Director, Medical Excellence is responsible for leading the new Medical Excellence team, reporting to the Director, Scientific & Professional Affairs. The Associate Director will have overall leadership and accountability for the Medical Excellence team that supports Scientific & Professional Affairs and the overall Johnson & Johnson Med Tech business. This role will provide strategic direction and planning across the CSS, De Puy Synthes and Ethicon franchises for the following key areas: • Research Compliance • Medical Information • Clinical Operational Efficiency and Excellence • Systems and Technology related to Scientific & Professional Affairs Activities • Promotional Integrity • Value Transfer Processes (including but not limited to HCP Value Transfer, Charitable Donations, Grants & Fellowships) Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Provides strategic direction, line management, coaching and development for the Medical Excellence Team • Optimize HCC related processes and delegation in collaboration with the Healthcare Compliance office • Evolve Medical Information at JJMT to meet fully meet the needs of multiple stakeholders • Provide leadership and direction for the development of key processes related to Clinical Research Review Governance, Scientific and Professional Affairs.
