We are working with a new analytics division within a large catering company. They are looking for an analyst to join their growing team and have a huge impact on how the business operates. The successful insights analyst will play a critical role in gathering, analysing, and interpreting data to provide valuable insights and support decision-making processes within the organization. It would suit someone that has been working as a consultant and is therefore able to deliver data, feedback and ideas to senior stakeholders. The primary responsibilities include: Data collection, review and analysis Market, demographic and economic analysis Historical venue performance analysis Competitor and comparator venue review and backssment Stakeholder and third-party interviews in person/phone to develop understanding Develop an understanding of the venue, its layout, challenges and opportunities Developing data-driven insight and solutions Financial analysis and development of financial models Report writing and presentation preparation Industry trends and benchmarking data management Qualifications and skills: At least 2 years consulting experience, preferably in a client facing role Highly numerate Advanced expertise with MS Excel Expertise in MS Word and MS Powerpoint Experienced in story telling using data, including to non-technical stakeholders Ability to write clearly and concisely Strong interpersonal skills, able to develop own stakeholder relationships, comfortable presenting to client executives Self-starter, ability to work alone at times A collaborative and curious attitude A strong work ethic with a willingness to support clients and colleagues Comfortable with deadlines and working with changing priorities University degree minimum 2:1 or equivalent For more information click apply or contact Hayley.
