With massive recent investment in their latest network infrastructure, they are at the forefront of space and satellite innovation. The Frequency Planning team is responsible for the optimal configuration of the satellite resources, therefore the team constantly monitor the performance, traffic demands on the network, and service requirements to make sure that the network KPIs and SLAs are met. They require a Satellite Resource Engineer to configure, operate and manage the resources on the fleet of satellites. The appointee will monitor traffic commitments and demand across the network, perform trending analyses, and recommend satellite and network reconfigurations to optimise network performance. Key Responsibilities for the Satellite Resource Engineer: - Configure and operate the Satellite Resource Planning Software Tools to monitor network resource usage and commitments. - Prepare satellite configurations and frequency planning changes, to ensure that adequate resources are in place to meet projected traffic demand. - Prepare and automate the generation of the traffic reports to monitor traffic demands and the satellite loading on the network. - backss the capability of the network to accommodate future traffic requirements. Essential Knowledge and Skills required by the Satellite Resource Engineer: - An Engineering Degree or equivalent in Mobile Communications/Telematics or in Mobile and Satellite Communications. - Srong Understanding of RF networking. - Knowledge of VSAT systems including i Direct and Gilat and mobile satellite communications. - Background in an Operational.
