Junior Sister – Oncology Location: Manchester Salary: up to £42,000 plus benefits and enhancements Hours: 37.5 per week Contract: Permanent Medi Talent are recruiting on behalf of a state of the art, modern, private hospital in Manchester for a Junior level sister/charge nurse to work within their Haematology/Oncology department. Junior Sister – Oncology Location: Manchester Salary: up to £42,000 plus benefits and enhancements Hours: 37.5 per week Contract: Permanent Medi Talent are recruiting on behalf of a state of the art, modern, private hospital in Manchester for a Junior level sister/charge nurse to work within their Haematology/Oncology department. The patients attend for day case chemotherapy and related treatments and/or consultant appointments. You will be responsible for the delivery of high standards of care and service to the patients and to work within a team to provide backssment and evaluation of care. You will act as role model providing leadership to the wider nursing team as well as undertake the role mentor for student nurses and junior staff within the unit. You will complete staff appraisals and be involved in team training and development. You will also organise workloads in-line with clinical priorities with the ability to work autonomously and also as part of a team. You will deputise the Ward Sister when needed and be able to take management of the ward.
