The Role: As a Bat Ecologist, you will play a pivotal role in conducting field surveys to backss bat populations in different habitats. Responsibilities: Monitoring roost sites caves, trees, buildings to understand bat behaviour. Facilitate survey teams, managing raw data, and ensuring proper documentation. Offering suggestions for managing habitats to support bat populations, with a focus on foraging, roosting, and breeding considerations. Analyse data using specialist software, including reviewing IR camera footage. Provide administrative support to the ecology team, liaising with landowners and inputting data. Maintain open communication within the team and ensure equipment is cared for. Requirements: Previously worked as a Bat Ecologist or in a similar role. Must hold level 2 licence of bat ecology.
