Portfolio Manager, client manager, practice manager, accounts manager, accounts senior, supervisor Portfolio Manager Accountancy firm Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire Salary: £55k - £65k + Excellent Benefits Job Type: Full - Time, Permanent The Client: Our client is a leading accountancy firm, dedicated to delivering excellent solutions to their diverse portfolio of clients. The Role: As a Portfolio Manager, you will be managing a portfolio of clients, delivering accounting and tax planning solutions. Build strong relationships, drive project delivery, and support team growth. Duties: Review accounts and tax returns for corporate and unincorporated clients. Provide exceptional service to clients on various areas in a cost-effective manner. Respond promptly to client and third-party queries e. g. HMRC. Develop strong knowledge of clients businesses and act as their point of contact. Assist in managing the Agriculture and Property department, including staff appraisals and effective delegation. Support partners in WIP control and timely completion of work. Efficiently plan and progress work by liaising with partners and supervising staff. Requirements: Previously worked as a Portfolio Manager or in a similar role. Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts and Taxation. Managerial experience within a Practice environment. ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualification or equivalent experience. Skilled in accounts preparation and taxation Experience in reviewing and completing accounts and personal tax returns.
