Lead Support Worker Edendale House, Blyth Permanent full time (37.5hrs per week), waking nights to include weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. As our Lead Support Worker, you’ll be at the heart of supporting our customers who have complex needs to develop their skills to live more independently in the community. You’ll make a big difference each day as you help our customers achieve their hopes and aspirations. Amazing we know! Calling all night owls! Prefer staying awake and working through the night rather than snoozing away like the rest of us? We’re looking for a dedicated night worker who won’t fall asleep on the job. Typical day as a Lead Support Worker (known by us as Coordinator) Creating support plans with your customers and coordinating our small team of Support Workers working to the plans. Supporting a diverse group of customers aged 16 and over with complex mental health diagnosis, learning disabilities and or dual diagnosis. Helping customers with daily living activities such as making meals, shopping, budgeting, maintaining their tenancy and moving onto independent accommodation if they are able. Carrying out risk backssments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews. Cuppas, chats and catch ups. There’s no rushing from one customer to the next here!
