Job Summary: As a Care Home Chef, you'll be responsible for planning and preparing well-balanced and appetising meals in accordance with dietary requirements and preferences of our residents. Your culinary expertise will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for those in our care. Location - Bridport Pay - £16 - £19 per hour - £16 Weekday/ Saturday £18/ Sunday £19 Duties: Plan and execute nutritious menus catering to diverse dietary needs. Prepare meals ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to hygiene regulations. Collaborate with the care team to accommodate individual preferences and dietary restrictions. Manage kitchen inventory, ensuring supplies are stocked and utilised efficiently. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment. Requirements: Minimum 6 months' experience as a chef in a similar care home setting within the UK. Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications. Understanding of dietary requirements and food safety standards. DBS certificate is mandatory; a driver's license is preferred.
