We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Process System Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial programming, process control, and technical support. This role will primarily focus on programming and maintaining our process control systems, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Historian, industrial communication networks, and related technologies. The Process System Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes in a mining setting. Responsibilities Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient operation of process control systems and related equipment. Develop and implement software solutions for industrial automation systems, primarily focusing on programming HMIs and PLCs Work with the historian to capture, store, and analyze historical data. Utilize industrial protocols such as OPC, Modbus TCP, and others to establish reliable communication between different components of the automation system. Develop, implement, and modify control logic and algorithms to improve process efficiency and accuracy. Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on process control equipment to ensure reliability and safety. Provide technical support for plant operators and maintenance teams to resolve system issues and implement improvements.
