Key responsibilities for the Mechanical Design Engineer job based in Ely will be: - Design and improve mechanical mechanisms for precision motion control and vibration isolation systems- To develop, assemble, test and evaluate theoretical designs following concurrence engineering approach- Ensure Design for Manufacturing and Assembly DFMA is implemented in the design- Planning and overseeing the product development and ensure deadlines are met Key skills and experience for the Mechanical Design Engineer job based in Ely include: - Experience in product development with proven record of released products- Experience with 3D and 2D modelling software, demonstrating a creative ability with attention to detail- Experience with precision component design to micron level tolerances- Experience of producing high quality manufacturing drawings containing full tolerance and detailed finishing specifications This exciting job is to join a growing company who can offer the opportunity for career progression and personal development.
