Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, Oxford, Competitive Salary + Benefits A niche, high technology, special purpose machinery manufacturer based in Oxfordshire is looking to add to their growing team through the recruitment of a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis. Working within a low volume, high value R&D and manufacturing environment, the successful Engineer will be joining an experienced team to design and develop technically complex engineering solutions regarding small retro-fit camera systems through to large automation machinery. Other responsibilities include: -Create mechanical designs and schematics and designs for industrial automation systems encompassing concepts, drawings and schematics within in Solid Works -Complete pneumatic designs inclusive of concepts, drawings and schematics -Work closely with the Design and Applications Engineering teams to deliver projects on time - Specify components for industrial automation systems These roles offer a great opportunity to join a growing organisation operating at the forefront of technical innovation and will challenge and develop the skill-sets of successful candidates. In order to be considered for these positions, candidates need to have proven experience in mechanical design using 3D CAD Software, preferably Solid Works. Degree qualified within Mechanical Engineering or related fields and have worked within a manufacturing/production/process environment. This position is commutable from Oxford, Reading, Swindon, Bicester, Newbury, Basingstoke, Andover, Aylesbury, High Wycombe and Maidenhead.
