The Headlines: In the role of Brand Design Manager working in Toronto, Canada, you understand design as a critical growth and business driver, using your expertise to orchestrate effective and aesthetic design solutions in partnership with Marketing and Agencies. Your creative proficiency is applied in service to brand objectives, creating a partnership that generates productivity efficiencies. This allows brand teams to remain focused on business objectives while having a trusted design SME working towards a common goal. The Design Manager’s embedded role results in cost efficiency, fostering brand independence from external resource fees associated with day-to-day brand asset management. The Design Manager’s understanding of corporate culture and critical thinking empowers them to facilitate problem solving and operate efficiently in a high volume, fast-paced setting. The Responsibilities: Strategic Capability and Design Expertise Blends understanding of cultural context, competitive landscape, consumer insights and business strategy specific to assigned brands to identify which creative ideas are on-brand and on-brief.
