Job DescriptionJob SummaryThe Sr HR Manager, Zeus Polymer Solutions (ZPS) Manufacturing acts as a strategic partner to the ZPS Manufacturing leadership team, proactively driving HR initiatives linked to business objectives. Provides insightful, innovative thinking and problem solving on a broad range of HR issues. Leads the HR teams at Zeus Polymer Solutions manufacturing facilities in the US. Reports to Sr Director of HR for the ZPS Business Unit. Job Responsibilities * Acts as a strategic partner to the Vice President of Manufacturing for ZPS and key members of the ZPS Manufacturing leadership team. * Leads a team of HR Managers and their teams providing HR services across Zeus Polymer Solutions manufacturing facilities. Owns the engagement and development of the manufacturing HR team. * Provides guidance and performs HR related duties across HR functions (e.g., employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, policy implementation, change management) * Drives consistent HR policy guidance and standard practices across manufacturing locations. Ensures continuity in practices to foster a uniform employee experience across a geographically dispersed workforce. * Works closely with the HR and manufacturing management teams to improve working relationships, build morale, instill trust and increase productivity and retention. * Partners with manufacturing leadership and site HR on workforce staffing plans. Coordinates recruiting efforts to hire competent, diverse talent to meet business goals. * Works closely with HR Center Of Excellence team to provide input for the design of HR programs in specific areas (e.g., compensation, training, engagement, talent). Supports the effective implementation of evolving talent management programs and practices. * Proactively drives appropriate people strategies and promotes organizational effectiveness (e.g., ongoing performance management, employee engagement and development, compensation planning, talent assessment, succession planning, leadership development, Diversity-Equity-Inclusion, and global cultural awareness). Actively engages in manufacturing leadership selection decisions. * Provides guidance in performance management and support to leadership such as coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions, etc. * Conducts thorough investigations and makes recommendations based on findings/facts when needed. * Acts as a change agent to effectively communicate, facilitate, and champion HR programs and company-wide initiatives. * Utilizes HR metrics and people data to drive solutions. * Performs other duties as needed based on department and/or organizational needs. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources; MBA or MHR degree preferred. * Minimum of 8 years HR experience including HR experience in a manufacturing environment. * Minimum of 3 years management experience (managing multiple locations preferred). * SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP certification a plus * Proven ability to coach and communicate across all levels of the organization * Strong consultative, presentation, and communication skills * Self-starter mentality with ability to work with minimum supervision * Experience using data to identify insights that drive action * Excellent time management and organization skills. Must have the ability to multi-task and re-prioritize based on business demands coupled with a strong sense of urgency. * Ability to travel when required * Oracle Human Capital Management system experience preferable * Strong computer skills including HRIS systems, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
