About Our Opportunity We are hiring for a results-driven, creative, and innovative Training and Development Consultant. In this exciting role, you will work in a highly collaborative environment to create training to develop and enhance our employees' skills. As part of the People and Culture Team within the Strategic Services Division, you are largely responsible to work with subject matter experts across the department to create curriculum and deliver training through a variety of methods. You have a direct impact on ensuring staff at DCS are equipped with the skills and knowledge they require to perform their jobs and provide excellent, culturally responsive client services to Nova Scotians. Primary Accountabilities As the Consultant, you will leverage your expertise in learning and development to: Consult with a wide variety of subject matter experts and determine curriculum and training requirements Create curriculum as well as design and deliver training Manage several complex training projects and ensure efficient project management under tight timelines Provide logistical oversight for large audiences to plan and execute training events Use various forms of technology to support.
