Position: Vice President, IB AML & Compliance Purpose Responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership and oversight of joint AML/Compliance activities and dedicated AML/ATF and GBM&T Compliance programs for the eight pillars of the AML/ATF and Compliance function for International Banking (IB). This includes Governance, including policies and procedures, Regulatory Libraries, Risk backssments, Testing, Monitoring including oversight of Transaction Monitoring activities, Issues Management, and Reporting and Analytics. Accountabilities Promotes the Bank’s Strategic priorities, including driving a client first culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Serves as Deputy to the SVP IB AML & Compliance and Corporate Function Compliance, which from time to time may include additional Compliance activities outside their daily roles. Co-ordinates requirements from Group Compliance & AML groups, including Governance, Ethics & Data; Compliance Operations and AML; Compliance & AML Canadian Banking & Wealth Management and Group Chief CAMLO; GBM & T Compliance and GBM AML; as well as Global Wealth, GBM &T and IB Internal Control teams, to ensure there is a single and consistent AML & Compliance program across IB, as set out in the Target Operating Model. Ensures IB resources are sufficient to execute on the AML, Sanctions and Compliance programs, while seeking consolidation of activities and cost efficiencies, where possible. Participates and guides the development and implementation of key Business, Compliance and AML strategic initiatives and transformation projects. Establishes appropriate governance routines, metrics and analytics to support Global Compliance & AML and the team’s business strategies and objectives. Keeps track of Compliance.
