Life Labs Medical Laboratory Services is seeking a responsible and patient-oriented individual to join our team in London, Ontario in a dual role with a primary role as a Mobile Lab Patient Technician and secondary role as a Lab Patient Technician. The successful candidate will support the Mobile team in London, Woodstock, Tilsonburg, Ingersoll and St. Thomas. Required availability from 5:30am to 3pm, Mon-Fri, and some weekend coverage may be required. Hours in the Patient service center may be available and offered depending on operational needs. In the Lab Patient Technician role you will: Greet and request required information from patients, explain the specimen collection process, and ensure patients have followed necessary test protocol prior to specimen collection. Perform phlebotomies, connect/disconnect holter monitors, and perform ECG tracings. Perform special test collections, such as medical/legal drug screens, paternity tests, and clinical trials, and complete related documentation. Maintain client relationships,.
