Job Description: A senior role exists to work in a growing and well respected consultancy firm with a focus on the Lloyds of London market and non-life insurance field. You will be an expert in the field, with strong expertise across the reserving, capital management and pricing field. You will be responsible for providing guidance and support to the team, providing effective solutions to client needs and thrive in a collaborative and client centric team. You will be responsible for providing guidance and support to the team, providing effective solutions to client needs and thrive in a collaborative and client centric team. Essential Skills/Experience: Qualified actuary with extensive post qualification experience in the general insurance and insurance field. Significant non-Life experience, with experience in reserving, capital and/or pricing, whether from an ‘in-house’ or consulting background Thought leader and solution provider Experience of planning projects and track record of delivering quality work on schedule Strong mentoring and coaching experience Willing and able to travel where to meet client needs Desirable Skills/Experience: Understanding of investments and climate risk and their implications for insurers would be beneficial Core Responsibilities: Providing expertise to clients in the insurance and reassurance field, on a consulting basis or via secondment to the client, delivering projects on time and within budget Providing mentoring, peer reviews and technical guidance to others across the business Thought leadership around emerging trends and regulations impacting the non-life market Working across the wider business to develop strong business relations.
