QC Technician / Lab Technician Shepton Mallet £29700 Manucomm Recruitment are looking to recruit a QC Technician for one of their clients sites based in Shepton Mallet. This is an ideal opportunity for you to either grow your career in a role that offers opportunities and progression for the future. QC Technician / Lab Technician Job Summary: ·Take samples from the line for microbiological & analytical testing ·Analyse finished products to approved specifications and in accordance with the prescribed methods ·Make sure date coding & labelling is correct ·Monitor CCPs - rinser validation, crimp & screw cap checks & pasteuriser set up and monitoring using Redpost ·Carry out ATP monitoring as required, using Accupoint 2 system ·Work in a safe manner at all times following the Health and Safety guidelines ·Work in line with Work Instructions and prescribed methods at all times ·Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of individual work area and ensure a standard of good housekeeping in the laboratory ·Make pasteuriser adjustments as required ·Communicate, as soon as practicable, any problems/issues found as a result of the analysis/checks carried out to the QC Team Leader or relevant operative or senior member of the Technical Team ·Carry out laboratory work efficiently within the safety policies and quality procedures of the company ·Report results through laboratory records and the company's computer system QC Technician / Lab Technician Shift Pattern ·4 days on - 12 hours in duration ·4 days off ·4 nights on - 12 hours in duration ·4 nights off Salary payments will be made every 4 weeks and will be based on annual salary of £29700QC Technician / Lab Technician Salary and Benefits: ·Company events ·Company pension ·Cycle to work scheme ·Employee discount ·Life insurance ·On-site parking ·Bonus scheme ·Yearly bonus Key Words: quality assistant, quality controller, quality technician or development technician, chemistry graduate, formulations chemist, QA, science graduate,.
