This permanent Electrical Designer role is with a UK based EPCM company specialising in the installation and commissioning of manufacturing plants and equipment within the chemical, water, and gas sectors. The company offers an early finish on a Friday, private health care plan and enhanced pension scheme within its benefits package. This Electrical Designer vacancy is an on-site position based in West Yorkshire with an established company who specialise in the manufacture and marketing of agricultural, industrial, and fine chemicals. Main Responsibilities of the Electrical Designer will include: Working closely with installation supervisor. Assisting in site surveys where required. Producing accurate Calculations, reports & quotations. Checking colleagues work for accuracy. Providing EC&I technical support for colleagues and customers. Producing LV distribution models. The successful Electrical Designer will: Have Trimble Amtech Pro Design experience. Have previous experience as an Electrical Designer.2 years + experience within an industrial engineering / manufacturing background. Have strong knowledge of safety requirements for switchgear and control gear assemblies. Possess low Voltage Distribution/Switchgear experience.
