We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Bromley to assist with the appointment of a Admin Officer , on a 3-month contract , highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration. Summary: To assist the Planning Communications Supervisor and Planning Technical Offers in day to day running of the Planning Admin functions. This includes assisting the PCS with communication tasks such as responding to email, letter and telephone enquiries. Assisting the PTO with uploading of documents and information to DMS systems, refunds and in office tasks such as collection of post and copying of archives documents. Responsibilities: Assist with answering telephone enquiries in a timely, courteous and professional manner, making effective use of the town planning telephone IT system and website. Assist with collecting, distributing and scanning of planning post. Assist with management of incoming emails, including filing emails into the relevant Planning Technical Officers folder. Log general correspondence using database management system and respond using relevant procedures. Prepare committee agendas and other application lists (Weekly/Allocation) as required Qualifications: Education to GCSE Standard Experience : Proven experience of dealing with the public in a mixed linguistic and cultural environment. Experience in working in a call centre or dealing with a range of customer enquiries. Experience of operating, updating, and retrieving data from an IT system. Experience of reviewing procedures and assisting with implementing improvements Experience of using basic IT software including Outlook Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
