You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable and optimised database solutions. Database Developer- SSIS - Walsall Database Developer required with experience using SISS to play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and efficient databases that support our business operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable and optimised database solutions. Requirements: Work with the Business and the Solutions Team to scope out work requests and development requirements. Analyse business requirements, provide accurate estimates and present solutions clearly. Evaluate, backss and recommend solutions that fit with our design philosophy. Develop full technical specifications, prototypes and software, working with your Peers in the Development and Solutions team. Lead integration development activities, working with the Solutions Team to turn the vision into reality. Manage development implementation, ensuring work assigned to you is completed on schedule adhering to department quality standards and processes. Collaborate with the Support and Test teams to ensure all solutions are fit for purpose, tested comprehensively and supportable. Provide support and training for the Support team for in-house developed system. Document systems and changes made clearly and thoroughly. Work with my peers in the Development team to define and stick to standards for best practice. Technical skills: Experience with SISS is essential for the role Database design techniques and optimization Data warehouse design methodologies Understand ETL Best practice Understand the principles of.
