Requirement and Job Description We are currently searching for a Server and Desktop Support Engineer with Networking experience to join our team, working from the West Midlands, supporting our client base comprising Private and Public Sector organisationsthroughout the UK. You will be working as part of a team to design, configure, manage, and support the core server and desktopinfrastructure for our clients, along with the ongoing development of the infrastructure in terms of growth, productevaluation, functionality and network requirements to include switching and routing. Dealing with technical queries and fault reports, remote diagnostics, and programming. Key Technical Skills Operating Systems: Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019 Windows 10 Hardware: Draytek, Cisco, Fortigate to NSE4, Unifi, HP Aruba Applications: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Exchange, Veeam Backup & Replication, Sentinel 1 EDR Services: Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, LAN/WAN, Hyper-V, VM-Ware, Azure, Microsoft 365 Standard &Premium, Barracuda, Remote App & Desktop Connections. Working as a Server, Desktop and Network Support engineer supporting the infrastructure for our businesscustomers as well as internal systems. Based in the West Midlands this is an office/field-based role covering mainly the Midlands and South West of England with occasional travel throughout the UK. Providing technical support for any hardware or software related issues highlighted by our customers or internal users Working with Voice Technicians to facilitate successful implementation and support of cloud and on-premises IP voice solutions, converged with data networking infrastructure. Experience with networking infrastructure (switching, routing, VLANs, Wireless, MPLS) Troubleshooting Internet & WAN Access circuits, specifically ADSL, FTTC, FTTP, So GEA and Ethernet circuits.
