What you will do as a Network Administrator: Develop, recommend, and implement new or updating technologies and procedures as necessary, including hardware, software operating systems and system updates; Repair, maintain, update and configure PC’s, servers and network systems, routers and switches; Monitor system performance and upgrade the network infrastructure when required; Windows System Administration; Workstation/server hardware configuration; WAN/LAN routing and configuration Microsoft Active Directory Network architecture, including topology, protocols, components, and principles (e. g. TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, SMTP, LDAP, WSUS, firewall configuration, etc. ); Windows Terminal Services; Disaster Recovery; Train new system users and set up their accounts; Provide remote office support; End user software/hardware support in a LAN/WAN environment; Solve computer related problems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues; Travel: Approximately 20% local, domestic or international travel may be required, possibly on short notice to meet immediate business needs.
