48470 - Regular - Representation: SOCIETY Job code: 00690029 Pay information: Schedule 1 / MP4 Hours of work (per week): 35 hr 5day 7hr Shift work: No Number of positions: 1 Town/City: Toronto, Ontario Department: STRT, ENGRYTRS & HR / PLANNING & KEY ACCOUNTS / BUS PROCESS Job Function: Conduct operations research, technical/economic/environmental/business/regulatory impact backssments and other specialized technical/business studies to determine transmission/distribution customer/system needs; analyze problems, develop strategies, alternatives and preferred solutions; and facilitate delivery of solutions through suppliers and service providers. Participate in the development of and prepare programs, processes, technical/operational/business standards, procedures or methods related to the management of transmission/distribution assets. Participate in the monitoring, controlling and redirection of major programs and complex projects during the execution phase. Co-ordinate activities with Service Providers. Participate in the preparation of business cases for the management of transmission/distribution assets. Represent the unit on discussion and negotiation with customers, stakeholders, regulatory authorities and suppliers.
