First Onsite is actively looking to hire a dedicated Estimator for our NATIONAL DESK. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for scoping and estimating the essential work needed to restore properties to their pre-disaster condition. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ESTIMATOR ON THE National Estimation Desk You play a pivotal role in delivering estimating support within Canada. Collaborating closely with the Program Performance Manager and Project Managers, you are tasked with generating prompt and precise estimates based on the data provided by First Onsite branches. As the Estimator, you function as a cohesive team member, possessing a comprehensive understanding of the insurance companies, independent adjusters, and First Onsite accounts. This knowledge is leveraged to ensure the fulfillment of service level expectations when preparing estimates and reports. Furthermore, as the Estimator you contribute significantly to timely project completion by applying your expertise in Claim Trak, Xactimate, Microsoft Office software applications, and exhibiting exceptional communication skills. Qualifications: Experience in the restoration industry is a MUST College Diploma or certification; or combination of relevant training courses in related fields and relevant experience may be acceptable in lieu of the academic requirements Proficiency with Xactimate and Microsoft Office Strong verbal and written communications skills.
