Reporting to the Senior Engineer Supervisor, Integrated Production, the Senior Production Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the 24-hour mill production plan. The role will work with Operations and Maintenance teams to support tradeoffs and decision making to deal with any variances or non-compliance to plan that occur throughout the shift and ensure that key operating strategies are in place, understood, and being effectively followed. The Senior Production Coordinator will also work closely with the planning teams to ensure that variances that occur throughout the shift are effectively communicated and incorporated into the next planning cycle. To be successful, this role will require a candidate with excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, who can build relationships across multi-disciplinary teams. This role requires a self-motivated individual who is driven to make data-based decisions and can handle contending priorities in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary, and dynamic environment.
