We are presently accepting resumes for a number of Permanent Full-Time Support Worker I positions. These positions will be assigned to work in our group homes in Orillia, working up to 72 hours biweekly. Compensation Package: In the day-line , hours of work are 8:00am - 8:00pm, 12-hour shifts for a total of 72 hours biweekly ; Minimum starting rate of pay is $24.43 11 paid Statutory Holidays; Confidential Employee Assistance program for you and for your immediate family; Following the successful completion of probation: Employer paid life insurance, health, and dental benefits; Employer paid vacation, personal leave, and sick time; Participation in RRSP with employer match up to 4%; Minimum Qualifications: S. W. diploma or an acceptable educational equivalency (D. S. W. Child & Youth Worker, E. C. E. S. S. W. Nursing, Psychology, etc. ) as determined by the employer is required; Other post-secondary academic credentials maybe considered for equivalency; 6 months of direct related experience in the Developmental Services sector; Candidates who have a completed Degree or Diploma from an accredited college or university in an unrelated field must have 2 years full-time work experience directly supporting people; When submitting your resume and cover letter, please also upload a copy of your diplomas / degrees.
