We offer rewarding career opportunities and we are continually searching for dynamic individuals to join our team. About this Position The incumbent reports to the Plant Manager. Perform and record inspections and tests on product and related materials both pre-production and post production in accordance with established standards. Ensure product is produced in compliance with CSA/ACI standards, unit drawings and job specifications and company procedures. Minimize costly errors during production; ensure that product conforms with drawings and specifications and that the finished product is of high quality. Principal Accountability Raw Materials " concrete testing of each different mix type done by using equipment such as temperature, slump, air content and cylinders for transfer seen-day and 28-day strength evaluation " record statistics. Pre-pour Inspection " Check panel form set-up, hardware type and locations of same within each panel. Verify that the product matches the drawings before concrete is placed. Post-Pour Inspection " ensure products are manufactured according to drawings after placement of concrete. Inspect finished product for uniformity of colour, texture and other imperfections for repair. Conduct appropriate tests to minimize waste of materials and use of improper or substandard materials. Prevent rejection of products. By containing these discrepancies within reasonable limits, shutdowns and time lost are reduced. Approve or reject raw material and manufactured product based on inspections and test results. Complete testing accurately and maintain records in accordance with established standards and procedures Work closely with the estimation department on the Quality Control requirements.
