As the Business Development Manager you must have the following capabilities: Identify, develop and manage new customer relationships Work in a team environment with the project operations, Marketing and Consulting organisations Work in synergy with a support team of country and proposal managers to proactively sell the Company in the Upstream Market, including feasibility studies, FEEDs, OBEs and EPCs. Develop detailed market analysis for growing market space and develop strategies to penetrate a defined target. Identify and develop relationships with the key decision-makers, uncover new business opportunities, recommend value added solutions, and develop a winning strategy (i.e. partnerships, subcontracts, etc). Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the organisation's core competencies and operational capabilities to provide solutions for customers resulting in profitable growth. Develop and maintain an understanding of current and prospective customers to maximise market share. Assume a leadership role when appropriate and work without boundaries throughout the organisation. Identify and pre-qualify business opportunities and make recommendations to the organisation, assuring Companys participation in the bidding stage. Travel frequently to regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, maintain contact and develop new business. Actively participate in the proposals commercial, contractual, legal and economic aspects, coordinating the contractual aspects and the financial and tax requirements. Conduct a comprehensive follow-up of the proposals until awarded Essential Requirements: Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. Master's Degree is desirable ten years' background in Direct Industrial Sales and Business Development of Engineered solutions in the Oil & Gas upstream market. Essential high-level of English language written and spoken Available to travel abroad Applicants should have strong links to industry and knowledge of the business drivers for the key markets Applicants should have effective communication expertise.
